We are a networking group of business people and other professionals. Some of us have been running our own shows for many, many years, but others are relative newcomers to it.
One thing that we all have in common is realising how important sharing information and ideas with each other is. The world of business can be very daunting to the uninitiated, but it doesn’t have to be. Believe it or not, even competitors can be friendly and help each other when they are starting out.
This website was put together to help anyone who finds themselves in the exciting, but slightly scary position of going it alone in the world of business, with especial focus on how to use technology to your advantage.
It can feel as if everyone else knows what they are doing and you are the only one with doubts, but this is not true. We all have doubts about our projects and even our own abilities to carry them out. The thing about business is knowing when to follow your heart and when to listen to your head …because sometimes, they will be in conflict with each other!
Our contributors include a number of company directors, some managing directors, a marketing professional, a corporate lawyer who can provide the legal angle, an evil human resources guru (!) and an accountant to make sure our numbers add up!
